Annoyance last night

Last night I went to Barnes & Noble to do a little WiFi surfing with my Tungsten C. After a little research on a topic, I headed to the section where my topic was located in the store. Upon finding an interesting book I was approached by one of those dreaded pyramid pushers - you know one of those "Start your own business, be your own boss" schemes. This is one thing I dislike, being interupted by someone under the premise of having a similar interest as mine, only to change the topic to try and sell me something. Really. I don't like it. Should I have grabbed an employee and pointed out the "Soliciter"? Probably, but no, I let him ramble for a little bit and toss out "$80,000 to $100,000 in income" repeatedly. Finally, I told him that seemed a little low. Remarkably, he came up with an example of someone he "knew" made $175,000 in only 14 months. Wow!

Apparently I have missed this band-wagon and need to rethink the choices I've made. But, I'll put that off until I really need to. It's nice to know that I have fall back options. I'm perfectly happy with my current employment and enjoy many benefits, not just monetary, but personal friendships and various perks that this job allows me. I'm quite happy, a little stressed, but happy. So, should I visit this guys website? Should I find out how much it will cost me to be a customer and shop at "his" web site? No, I think I'll just keep shopping directly with online sources I know and trust.
